Executive Summary

The below provides detailed investor information and includes the basic strategic business plan information necessary for initial establishment and operation of TeamBlueChip.com (TBC). The TBC business model has two concurrent goals and means of generating income. The first form is through our general website, which can be found at www.TeamBlueChip.com, where we will look to utilize an advertising revenue stream. This site will serve as a social networking location for High School athletes to interact with each other as well as any coaches that wish to post their information. The site currently has 51 athlete users and the number has grown by 1 to 2 athletes daily, while only focusing on baseball. We have utilized Google Ad-Sense to upload advertisements on the web site, as well as one partner (College Coaches Corner), which shares revenue on products bought using our specific discount code. This profit will directly correlate with the number of users that we can accrue and their loyalty to the site. The second form of revenue will be generated through our TBC Social Network building team. We will look to approach college athletic programs to build for them individualized versions of TBC.com for them to use in their recruiting process. The individual site will be password protected and only available to the individual universities athletic coaches and those athletes that they are recruiting. We will charge $10,000.00 for the initial building of the site and maintenance for year one. The site, based off of our main site, will cost is approximately $5,000.00 to build and test. We will then charge the university $5,000.00 for each additional year of usage.

This plan outlines the company’s business growth, methods, concepts for success, procedures for operation, and management. We will focus our business/web site towards high school athletes as a place where they can illustrate to collage coaching staffs their playing ability as well as their personality and academic backgrounds. We will focus our business/web site towards collegiate coaching staffs as well, as a central location where they can locate information on potential recruits and open up a dialogue with those athletes they are hoping to pursue. Coaching Staffs can also use the site as a place to promote their programs by creating a recruiting page and network. Our site will focus on the use of digital video by high school athletes to promote playing ability and will also incorporate the use of E-Mail and Message posting as a tool for both students and coaches to use in the recruitment and interaction process.

In order to promote TBC Social Networking Business, we will look to hire sales associates to approach college administrators with the TBC concept. This position will be commission based with TBC offering 25% commission on each sale of $10,000.00 and 15% commission on each following year subscription of $5,000.00. The interview process is currently underway with very positive feedback from potential employees, ranging from sales professionals to former NFL players. By forming this network we can reach the greatest number of colleges and have the greatest impact.

TeamBlueChip.com was formed in December 2006 by founder Stephen O'Sullivan in New York, New York as a LLC corporation under the laws of New York.

The creation of TeamBlueChip.com will provide high school athletes across the country an opportunity to show off their abilities and to reach their goal of acquiring a college scholarship. By centralizing all of their information and compiling a video of both game and skill based action, high school athletes will be able to put their best foot forward to college athletic recruiters. It will also allow High School athletes to interact with each other and with peers that have similar interests from across the country. Inversely, college-coaching staffs will be able to list all pertinent information regarding their individual programs on their own unique location within TeamBlueChip.com. Coaching staffs will be able to limit access on their pages to only those recruits that they choose to invite into their world. By offering universities the option of creating their own unique TBC site we will offer a number of additional functions and offer the university the ability to set itself apart from it’s peers. Niche social networking sites are becoming an important, valuable, and trusted resource in the business world and will have a similar impact in the college world. On unique sites we will offer compliance trackers for administrators to use to monitor NCAA regulations, we will provide a location where future athletes can feel like a part of the university athletic family before ever setting foot on campus, where future athletes can meet and interact with each other, unique thumbnail views for coaches to use in monitoring their recruits progress both academically and athletically, plus much more.

Due to the competitive nature of the recruiting business, and the fact that we will be providing a unique service, we expect demand to be steady and increase from year to year as illustrated in the Business Plan. Coaching staffs are always searching for a different and new medium in which to connect with potential recruits and high school athletes are always looking for new and exciting ways to promote their abilities to colleges, we feel that TeamBlueChip.com meets all of these needs.

The equity for each investor will be based on his or her investment. An in-depth look at Ratios can be found in Topic 8.8 of the full Business Plan, Business Ratios. We will look to attract investors with a strong passion for sports and a desire to continue our relationship into our expansion plans. A crucial aspect in the development of TeamBlueChip.com will be the understanding and support of our investors. Up to this point TBC has been a fully self-financed business, with money coming from personal savings and family loans.

Ways to minimize risk factors to TeamBlueChip.com success include:

  • Multi-skilled personnel will need to be employed, with an emphasis on not only athletic background and knowledge but also business skills, especially where customer satisfaction is concerned.
  • Build a sufficient customer base. We feel that with our positive up side and lack of any downside for using our service we can reach a large number of students and coaches. We will work with coaching staffs to make the site as user friendly and useful as possible, taking in all of their input and implementing all changes that we see fit as we expand.
  • Contact potential advertising sources as the main TBC site gains users.
  • Continue to grow and keep innovation as the cornerstone to our company’s model. We understand that our primary goal is to help both high school athletes and collegiate coaches seamlessly through the recruitment process using modern technology and the advancements of the Internet.
